A generous fairway welcomes your first shot of the day, keep your drive up on the right side of the fairway and let it feed down into the centre. Your second shot, although with a mid iron, is a visually deceptive one, it appears shorter than it actually plays. It takes a brave player to land the ball on the back shelf of the green. Even when you are on the green it is not a guaranteed two putt. This picturesque par 3 looks out over the Surrey hills but dont let that take your mind away from your game, as this is a very long and difficult hole that requires a solidly struck long iron or wood but accuracy is vital if you are to find the putting surface. Too long however is where the trouble lies with out of bounds lurking! The 11th hole is agood par 5 and for the long hitters the line is over the trees on the right side, this will give you an opportunity to reach in two but be aware of the water that lurks to the right of the green, a sloppy second shot can so easily find a watery grave!! Another fantastic looking golf hole, this par 3 is straight down hill and club selection is vital as a too long tee shot will leave a real tricky pitch back Another Par 3, the 17th hole is one of the best holes on the course. Tall trees flank the hole, which creates a natural theatre, but it makes club selection difficult because of the swirling wind. Selecting the right club is crucial because this small green has out of bounds on the left and a water hazard on the right, get out of there with a par and most players would be proud Dress CodeFind out moreOnline Tee BookingBook ahead of time to get on the courseFind out moreMembershipFor all membership enquiries contact Steven CooksonFind out more
